Breast augmentation, or breast enlargement with implants, is one of the most common cosmetic surgeries performed in the United States. Dr. Wilke has expertise in various techniques, using both saline and silicone gel filled implants. He utilizes small incisions either in the crease under the breast, the lower edge of the areola, or in the armpit to place the implant. The breast implants are most often placed beneath the pectoralis muscle, but in some cases the implant may be placed above the muscle.

Dr. Wilke is very experienced with endoscopic breast augmentation. This technique is performed through an armpit incision, and a small camera on the endoscope allows visualization of the breast pocket. This allows precision and safety when the armpit incision is the preferred route.
