Dr. Robert C. Wilke

“I love the blending of art and science in Plastic Surgery. From a young age, I have wanted to take the time to do things as well as they can be done. In my medical training, I gravitated toward the specialties as I wanted to be able to devote my attention to become the best I could possibly be. Plastic Surgery has that focus, in addition to appealing to the artistic side of my personality. I feel privileged to be able to use my training and experience to make a real difference in people’s lives.”

Dr. Wilke is board-certified in plastic surgery. He serves on the board of the Minnesota Society of Plastic Surgeons and is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Minnesota. He has also volunteered on numerous surgical mission trips to third world countries, providing reconstructive surgery to children.

Dr. Wilke and his wife, Julie, have two children. He stays very active in his free time by helping with his childrens’ sports teams, playing tennis, and going on family ski outings.
